Listen.
In order to fully understand the problem we are trying to solve, we need to gather as much information as possible and soak it all in. We identify the goals, objectives, and strategic direction of the project.
Research.
After defining the problem we research competitors, target audiences, and the industry in general. Our website design process also includes a competitor and current website audit and content analysis.
Explore.
The best ideas don't pop into our minds—the obvious ones do. In order to flex our creative muscles we need to help the creative process along by brainstorming possible solutions. Our website development process also includes development of a proposed sitemap.
Develop.
We take a few ideas further, and evaluate, revise, critique, and revise again until we have solid options to show the client. Depending on a website's complexity, our website design process often includes the creation of wireframes (skeletal blueprints for design templates).
Implement.
Upon client review we revise and zone in on the final design. Content is added, and photography, illustration, and copywriting (if needed) is coordinated. This is where the details are worked out, final revisions are made, and the project is finalized. We work with the vendor on printed materials, and for websites we work with the host to get the site up and running.
