Clark Consulting: Survey Results Report

CHALLENGE
Clark Consulting had completed their thirteenth survey on executive benefits, a biennial study detailing how Fortune 1000 companies shape their executive benefit programs. Our mission was not only to design and handle production of the survey results book but also to create five industry-specific versions of the results. The pieces needed to be very high-end to appeal to their top-line prospects and position Clark Consulting as a leader in executive benefit planning. The tight time frame of eight weeks to get the entire 55-page book designed, edited and printed added to the challenge.

SOLUTION
Because we had worked with Clark Consulting on the previous version of the survey results book, we were able to get a head start on the design and layout as the numbers were being tabulated. The piece we created embodies the knowledge and forward-thinking attributes of Clark Consulting through the innovative use of imagery, graphics, and printing techniques. To keep the print costs down but still include numerous colors we used a multi-ink technique which gave us additional color options within a three color print job. We decided to protect the piece throughout the shipping and storage process by creating an outer sleeve embossed with the Clark Consulting logo. The industry-specific books follow the look of the main piece, though each maintains its own distinct flair.

RESULTS
The survey results book continues to receive positive press and has had an impressive number of downloads. The printed version has been well-received by its recipients and has helped Clark Consulting to solidify its image as the leader and trusted partner to thousands of leading corporations and banks in business risk management.
