The Children's Advocacy Center: Annual Report
CHALLENGE
The Children's Advocacy Center of North & Northwest Cook County was looking
to convey the emotional nature of the organization, and show the hope brought
to the lives of the children they help.
SOLUTION
We developed the concept of “out of the dark”, showing children emerging
from shadows, and beams of light shining about.
RESULTS
The report helped the Children's Advocacy Center clarify its message to
organizations and individuals, with more than one commenting on its
straightforward approach.

“The challenge in producing a successful annual report for The Children's Advocacy Center is to convey the emotional side of healing from child abuse. Our therapists counsel these young children recognizing each survivor's story and response to the abuse is different and requires an individualized treatment program.
Since we cannot include pictures of our children, we portray the emotional side with words and graphics. Bending Design is highly competent in accomplishing this with their keen graphic eye to selecting colors, style, and editorial content in a succinct way.”
