American Academy of Pediatrics: Journal Websites
CHALLENGE
The American Academy of Pediatrics' Journal sites were in need of a fresh design to better organize their vast and growing content. Each site had its own design, forcing users to familiarize themselves with a different interface for each one. In addition, the organization was losing an opportunity for enhanced branding and continuity throughout its Journal sites.
SOLUTION
While the content area is specific to each site, a consistent template was applied to all three, and a basic style guide was created. Grid structures and background colors were added to better organize the sites and create a sense of hierarchy. The sites are easily scalable in order to add new features, tools, and other content.
RESULTS
The clean and organized interfaces allow users to more easily identify and locate articles and other content.
